The Texas Coaliton to Abolish the Death Penalty-Dallas Chapter is gathering documentation of the tortuous, inhumane living conditions for death row inmates at the Terrell Unit in Livingston, Texas.

We are requesting copies of letters FROM death row inmates describing the living conditions at Terrell for the purpose of worldwide circulation to appropriate agencies.

One organization that is being contacted immediately is the Amnesty International research department in London. However, documentation is a MUST.

Please send copies of these letters and also ask any death row inmates at Terrell to write if they haven't done so about the living conditions.  Inmates can send to us directly if they wish.
