From October 21 - December 31, 2000, The Puffin Foundation Ltd. sponsored an art exhibit at The Puffin Room in New York, New York.
The exhibit "THE PRISON INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX", a comprehensive exhibit about the American prison system and the death penalty had participation by Amnesty International, National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, Legal Action Center, members of the New York City Council, the Center for Constitutional Rights, members of other groups and individuals.
The exhibit featured artwork by Carol Jacobson, photography, by Ken Light for his book "Texas Death Row" (there is a photograph of Ronnie and I included in the book) and numerous pieces of artwork by prisoners on Death Rows nationwide.
My own drawing "Crimson Dahlia" was also included. The beautiful lady is my friend Myshell, who also took the pictures and I appreciate her being kind enough to travel to NY specifically to view the exhibit and take the photos so I could share them with all of you.
